For those expecting grand views of the Fraser river during the walk through the park you may be disappointed. It's mainly just a winding walk through a pretty forest and marshland environment. The fast and straight walk back the carpark is somewhat not thrilling. Maybe they are planning more for the future? But hey its a new protected environment.
Knowing the dangers for woman walking alone in or along park paths in the greater Vancouver due to the winding path I would NOT recommend this for a quick jogg alone! There are many areas with thick brush wood and very short spanned views along the trail. The proximity of the fast flowing river is somewhat an additional danger for anyone in peril or dire straight position to "get away" from someone with harmful intentions.
