Up and running Olympics ambiance
Here go Vancouver. I was not the 1st weeks ahead as per my gallery at http://bit.ly/aeoJ8c telling that THE PUBLIC will be and now is very unhappy about the endless metal fences downtown to keep the public far away from things as essential as the Cauldron. I am sure there are ways to have a short lower fence to keep anyone from climbing it and grilling his burger. Beside these are photos showing off the "sort of festive" ambiance in the area although you can see on the faces of the "posing " pictures in front of the fence that they are "cheesed off" some are trying awkward positions to gain higher & better view and surpass the fence.
So sad spending so many million for such a fantastic elevated sea view Esplanade and then cut it away from from the privilege of the visiting public.
