Tangerine Symphony or the gorgeous Life and Death of Daylillies
I planted 250 Day Lillies this year saved from a roadside ditch. I was so lucky that they were double or triple or more layers. The most beautiful tangerine with red accents. I also lost 95% or our roses this last winter. So when one of my few wild pink rose bushes. I knew that Day Lillis last only one day. So I tried to see IF I cut them before the end of the day and put them in a vase would they live longer. No chance, but seeing them fading away in front of my camera next to the strong roses I had the strong urge to document the sensations felt when these gorgeous flowers pass on and turn into statuesque beauties for a few hours before fading totally away. HL this pink and tangerine love story is for your love of pink the way I see it .
